Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide application production support for banking domain applications
• Monitor application health and perform proactive issue identification and resolution
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Linux, Oracle, and application components
• Perform root cause analysis and support problem management activities
• Execute operational tasks using Ansible and other automation or scheduling tools
• Support database-related activities including Oracle and PL/SQL troubleshooting
• Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, change, and service request management
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and support procedures
• Work in shifts and provide support during weekends and holidays as required
• Ensure compliance with operational SLAs and quality standards

Job Requirements

• Overall 0 to 5 years of IT experience with a minimum of 6 months in application production support within the banking domain
• Strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems and administration
• Good knowledge of Oracle database and PL/SQL
• Hands-on experience or exposure to Ansible
• Understanding of ITIL processes and service management practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, weekends, and holidays when required

Good to Have

• Experience with DevOps tools and platforms
• Exposure to Autosys, ServiceNow, and Dynatrace
• Prior experience supporting payment or finance domain applications

Preferred Qualifications

• ITIL certification
• Prior hands-on experience in application production support
• Knowledge of banking, payment, or financial services applications

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline or Master's degree in Information Technology
