L2 Network Engineer

Job Description

• Provide L2 support for network incidents, service requests, and changes
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, routing, and switching issues
• Manage and support Cisco Meraki devices (MX, MS, MR) via dashboard
• Work on F5 load balancers, Cisco Nexus switches, and wireless controllers
• Handle DHCP/DNS configuration and troubleshooting
• Monitor network performance to ensure uptime and SLA compliance
• Configure VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and basic routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
• Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and routine health checks
• Collaborate with L3 teams for complex issue resolution
• Maintain network documentation (topology, configurations, procedures)
• Participate in on-call rotation and support during network outages
