About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled L2 Engineer with strong hands-on experience in networking, Windows administration, Active Directory, and endpoint security. The role involves handling advanced troubleshooting, incident resolution, and infrastructure support across enterprise environments.
This is a critical position requiring problem-solving ability, ownership mindset, and strong technical depth.
Detailed Job Description (Key Responsibilities):
1. Advanced Networking & Troubleshooting
Understand network architecture and troubleshooting complex connectivity/performance issues
Analyze packet flow and network behavior
Diagnosing DNS, DHCP, and latency-related issues
Work with network monitoring tools
2. Windows OS Administration
Perform advanced troubleshooting of Windows client systems
Manage system services, registry, and performance issues
Handle Group Policy configurations
Use PowerShell for automation and issue resolution
3. Active Directory Administration
Manage and troubleshoot AD environments
Handle replication issues, FSMO roles, and GPOs
Perform bulk user management and delegation
Support DNS in AD environments
4. Firewall & Security Management
Configure and troubleshoot firewall rules, NAT, and ACLs
Support VPN connectivity (site-to-site and client VPN)
Analyze logs and resolve blocked access issues
5. Server Administration
Manage file servers, permissions, and shared resources
Monitor server performance and ensure uptime
Handle backup, restore, and patch management
6. Endpoint & Security Management
Manage antivirus and endpoint security tools
Investigate and resolve malware/security incidents
Handle centralized security console operations
7. Desktop, Laptop & Peripheral Support
Perform hardware diagnostics and OS recovery
Manage BitLocker, BIOS/UEFI, and system imaging
Troubleshoot printer and network peripheral issues
Candidate Requirement:
Graduate in IT / Computer Science or related field
Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL)
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Hands-on experience in enterprise IT environments
Ability to handle L2 escalations independently
Good communication and stakeholder handling skills
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
