What success looks like in this role:
We are seeking an
L2 Core Infrastructure Engineer to support a
hybrid enterprise environment consisting of
On-Prem Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Teams.
The role is part of a
247 operations team, responsible for L2 support, incident resolution, and ensuring availability of core infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage On-Prem Active Directory (users, groups, GPOs, OU structure).
- Support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) in a hybrid setup:
- Azure AD Connect / Cloud Sync monitoring and troubleshooting
- User, group, and device lifecycle support
- Provide L2 support for Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online:
- Mailboxes, DLs, shared mailboxes, mail flow issues
- Support Microsoft Teams:
- User enablement, policies, and client/service issues
- Operate and troubleshoot File & Print services.
- Support DNS and DHCP services.
- Monitor infrastructure using SCOM and respond to alerts.
- Handle incidents, escalations from L1, and participate in RCA.
- Work in 247 shift-based support and rotations.
- Follow ITIL-aligned incident, change, and problem processes.
- Collaborate with L3/SME teams for complex issues.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
24 years in Enterprise IT Infrastructure Operations
Preferred
- PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Exposure to MFA, SSPR, Conditional Access.
- ITIL Foundation certification or ITIL process knowledge.
- AZ-900 and AZ-104 Certified
- Experience supporting large enterprise environments.
