Job Description

L1 Network Support Engineer

Onsite at Mahadevapura Village, KR Puram Hobli, Bengaluru, KA

3 days Onsite, 2 days remote with 2 rotational days off.

Shifts:

  1. Morning - 6 am - 3 pm IST
  2. Noon - 2 am - 11 pm IST
  3. Night - 10 pm - 7 am IST

  • Primary focus:Switching (routing also needed, but switching is the emphasis)
  • Key requirements:
  • Strong hands-on understanding of enterprise switching
  • Ability to troubleshoot and interpret logs (read logs to determine what's happening)
  • Experience with Aruba wireless
  • Environment: Ticket-driven operations
  • Support coverage: 24/7/365
  • Shifts: Rotating 8-hour shifts (morning/afternoon /night)
  • Rotation is mandatory; candidates cannot select shifts

  • SDwan Support - 1st layer incident response
  • Fabric Network (Leaf and Spine)
  • Software Defined Networks*
  • Going through Switch Logs (Switch is down - Incident decisions)
  • Cisco L3 Switches
  • SolarWinds for dashboards and ServiceNow for ticketing and for monitoring
  • Monitoring Incidents in ServiceNow
