Position Title: L&D and Strategy Head

Job Overview:
The L&D and Strategy Head is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive
learning and development programs that drive employee performance, engagement, and
organizational growth. This role focuses on leveraging Learning Management Systems
(LMS), creating tailored training content, and aligning training initiatives with Apple's
standards and the organization's strategic objectives. The Training Manager oversees the
performance of regional trainers, manages Apple's Partner Trainer Program (PTP+), and
collaborates with cross-functional teams to cultivate a culture of continuous learning and
development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Program Design and Implementation
Develop, redesign, and implement training content tailored to employee roles, Apple
guidelines, and business objectives.
Create and execute monthly training calendars, covering induction programs, technical
skills, and behavioral competencies.
Deliver classroom and virtual training sessions, including Apple product-specific
modules and customer experience programs.
Ensure training content aligns with KPIs and supports organizational growth.
2. Learning Management System (LMS) Oversight
Drive LMS adoption, ensuring an intuitive user experience and consistent engagement.
Conduct LMS-specific training sessions to onboard employees and track their progress.
Monitor engagement with SEED (Apple's LMS), ensuring compliance with Apple's
standards and high participation in quizzes and assessments.
Analyze LMS data to generate actionable insights for enhancing training delivery.
3. Training Effectiveness and Reporting
Evaluate program success using feedback surveys, on-the-job assessments, and
training quizzes. Collaborate with department heads to identify training gaps and create role-specific
learning pathways.
Publish detailed reports on training attendance, feedback, and learning outcomes for
leadership review.
Implement data-driven improvements to ensure training initiatives meet or exceed
organizational expectations.
4. Leadership and Team Development
Oversee the performance of regional trainers and ensure high-quality training delivery
across locations.
Provide coaching and mentorship to trainers, fostering their progression through Apple's
Partner Trainer Program (PTP+).
Align L&D initiatives with key organizational KPIs and support performance appraisals
through training interventions.
Facilitate periodic train-the-trainer programs to ensure consistent training standards.
5. Employee Engagement and Retention Initiatives
Partner with HR to design employee engagement projects and enhance the onboarding
experience for new hires including company induction & NHT (New Hire Trainings).
Conduct periodic staff surveys and exit interviews to gather actionable insights for
leadership.
Organize team-building activities to promote a culture of collaboration, well-being, and
continuous growth.
6. Content Creation and Collaboration
Develop new Apple/Non-Apple learning modules, quizzes, and assessments tailored to
organizational needs.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure training topics address skills gaps and align
with business goals.
Coordinate with third-party trainers for specialized training in third party products,
technical and behavioral areas.
7. Partner Trainer Program (PTP+) Alignment
Facilitate the progression of trainers through Apple's PTP+, ensuring adherence to
program guidelines.
Conduct Apple-mandated Level 2 training sessions using PTP+ content and
methodologies.
Monitor SEED engagement and ensure certifications for trainers under the program.
8. Data Analysis and Insights
Analyze training data to identify skill gaps, track trends, and recommend interventions. Use analytics to optimize learning outcomes and enhance the effectiveness of training
programs.
Present insights and recommendations to leadership to inform strategic learning
initiatives.
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or
related fields.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in L&D management, with a proven track record in LMS
platforms and corporate training programs.
Expertise in designing, delivering, and evaluating training initiatives for diverse
audiences.
Skills:
Strong project management and organizational abilities to handle multiple training
initiatives simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills to engage participants at all
organizational levels.
Proficiency in LMS platforms, including SEED, Moodle, Blackboard, or similar
systems.
Analytical mindset with expertise in data interpretation and training analytics.
Familiarity with Apple's ecosystem, training methodologies, and global standards is
preferred.
