How will you make an impact in this role

American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the Global leader in the Commercial Payments Solutions space and subsequently continues to be an exciting and fast-growing segment. To maintain success, accelerating sales and driving profitable charge volume growth are critical for the organization. The Sales Enablement, Pricing and Transformation (SPT) team is a core constituent in fuelling this agenda, by finding opportunities to change the way we work and do business for the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.
  • Perform comprehensive KYC reviews and remediation for corporate accounts in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Ensure accurate and current client data is captured, validated and maintained across systems
  • Document analysis, conclusions and decisions clearly to support audit, QA and regulatory reviews.
  • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and potential risk indicators, escalating issues aa appropriate
  • Support quality assurance reviews to ensure consistency accuracy and high standards of outcomes.
  • Partner with KYC Remediation, Client Management, Global Servicing and project teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Contribute to Project deliverables, including remediation efforts, issue resolution and stakeholder support
  • Support project driven changes, process enhancements

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience working directly with our corporate clients in current or previous role
  • Knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) policy and or processes
  • Strong knowledge of KYC/AML requirements for corporate clients
  • Experience conducting account reviews, remediation, and due diligence.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data management.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively across teams and functions
  • Effective time management and prioritization in high-volume environment
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and project demands.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who can deliver strategic thought leadership and lead projects with limited guidance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with corporate clients and complex ownership structures preferred
  • Familiarity with remediation programs and large-scale regulatory projects is a plus
