Summary:

Responsibilities:

- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that supports diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor and document student progress through observational assessments, portfolios, and informal evaluations.
- Provide individualised attention and support to students, adapting teaching methods to meet varying developmental needs.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication, progress updates, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Participate in professional development, team meetings, and school-wide initiatives to enhance teaching practices.
- Integrate technology and creative tools (e.g., music, art, storytelling) to enrich the learning experience.
- Promote positive behaviour and social-emotional learning through consistent routines, conflict resolution strategies, and modelling kindness.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification or license for kindergarten level, as required by local education authorities.
- 25 years of proven experience in teaching kindergarten or early childhood education settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching and mentoring young learners, with a strong understanding of developmental milestones.
- Proficiency in designing and delivering play-based, child-centered curricula.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented school environment.
- Strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and student well-being.
- Familiarity with child safety protocols and adherence to school policies and regulations.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools for instruction and documentation.
