Position: Kinaxis Solution Consultant

Relevant Kinaxis experience (proper hands-on at solution consultant level) they are expecting is at least 5+ years. Kinaxis experience could be in either Demand Planning or Supply Planning or both.
The Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) team is the IT engine that delivers robust capabilities, products, and solutions to the business by focusing on cost optimization, business growth, and better connectivity with partners and customers. This role is part of the Supply Chain Planning and Forecasting team. As part of this team, the role will support full-horizon, end-to-end integrated solutions and will be responsible for developing and supporting Kinaxis-related implementation projects and changes managed by the DTS organization.
Scope: Responsible for solution design and delivery of the Kinaxis system
- Excellent understanding of the Kinaxis solution footprint, with deep knowledge of supply planning solutions
- Leads/facilitates business diagnostics, As-Is process analysis, and To-Be design workshops, and can translate outcomes into solution design documents that support business requirements
- Ability to review functional specifications and designs, and provide inputs to enhance the quality of deliverables
- Ability to review existing systems and tools and recommend improvement opportunities
- Experience implementing planning solutions for a large global manufacturer or CPG company is preferred, but not required
- Ability to configure Kinaxis planning solutions and implement them independently with oversight from a Kinaxis architect
- Ability to influence business decisions on technology by leveraging experience, industry best practices, and standard methodologies
- Ability to deliver in fast-paced environments using agile methodologies
- Assist the delivery manager and Kinaxis architect with project planning, including detailed plans, estimates, and timelines
- Set up and coordinate user acceptance testing, and support final acceptance and critical-phase sign-off by business owners
- Communicate project risks and issues that may negatively impact schedule, scope, or budget
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- MBA or master's degree (or equivalent) in supply chain or logistics is preferred but not required
Technical experience (8+ years total in supply chain solutions, with Kinaxis or similar tools):
- 5+ years of proven experience in Kinaxis supply planning implementations is mandatory; project, enhancement, and/or POC experience is required (end-user or superuser experience alone does not qualify)
- Implementation experience and functional knowledge of material planning systems and processes is desirable
- Hands-on experience integrating Kinaxis with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC is highly desirable but not mandatory
- Experience collaborating with cross-cultural, distributed teams to gather requirements, make design decisions, and support testing and delivery
- Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Kinaxis experience may be in demand planning, supply planning, or both. While 5+ years of Kinaxis experience is preferred, strong candidates with somewhat less experience may be considered if they demonstrate the right skills and background.
