New Client Acquisition:
- Lead efforts in acquiring new clients within the IT, BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) or Consumer Practice sectors.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities and develop strategies for penetrating new markets.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring consistent growth in client portfolio.
Hunting and Farming:
- Actively hunt for new business opportunities while also farming existing accounts to ensure deep engagement, growth, and retention.
- Develop and implement account development strategies that drive revenue, improve client satisfaction, and uncover additional opportunities within existing relationships.
- Utilize upselling and cross-selling strategies to expand business within assigned accounts.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives and decision-makers within client organizations.
- Take a proactive approach to understanding client needs and expectations, ensuring that both strategic and tactical goals are met.
- Act as the key liaison between the client and internal teams, facilitating effective communication and alignment.
BFSI or Consumer Practice Domain Expertise:
- Apply deep industry knowledge in IT, BFSI or Consumer Practice to advise clients on tailored solutions, providing insights into current trends, market changes, and new opportunities.
- Leverage sector-specific expertise to deliver solutions that align with the clients long-term strategic goals.
Client Visits:
- Regularly meet with clients in-person to strengthen relationships, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with their goals.
- Organize and conduct client meetings, workshops, and presentations to discuss progress, challenges, and future business plans.
- Travel as needed to attend client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
Candidate must have:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's in Business, Marketing, or related field (Masters preferred).
- 5-10 years of experience in Key Account Management or a similar role, with proven success in managing high-value clients and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of the BFSI or Consumer Practice industry (domain expertise is a must).
- A track record of achieving sales targets, managing key client relationships, and leading account development strategies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction and long-term relationship building.
