Key Account Executive (Sales)

Location: Ernakulam

Department: Sales & Business Development

Reporting To: Key Account Manager / Business Manager

Role Summary

The Key Account Executive (KAE) will support the sales and account management function by assisting in managing retail accounts, executing field-level sales activities, and building strong relationships with merchants. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in sales, retail, FMCG, or fashion segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and servicing assigned retail and merchant accounts
  • Support account onboarding, activation, and daily engagement activities
  • Conduct regular field visits to ensure visibility and relationship continuity
  • Execute sales plans and meet assigned targets under supervision
  • Collect market feedback and competitor insights
  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth account operations
  • Maintain accurate daily activity and sales reports
  • Ensure adherence to company sales processes and reporting guidelines

Hiring Credentials / Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree (Mandatory)
  • MBA (Pursuing / Freshers) will be an added advantage

Experience

  • 0 to 1 year of experience
  • Freshers with strong interest in sales may also be considered

Language & Communication

  • Fluency in English and Malayalam is mandatory
  • Good communication and customer interaction skills
