Job Title: Key Account Manager OEM
Industry: Lithium Battery Manufacturing (Low Voltage Applications EV, Telecom, Solar, Industrial)

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Key Account Manager (OEM) to manage and grow strategic OEM accounts in the lithium battery segment. The role will focus on handling EV (2W/3W/4W), Telecom, Solar/ESS, and Industrial OEM customers, driving revenue growth, managing RFQs, leading commercial negotiations, and ensuring flawless project execution from development to mass production.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical-commercial acumen and hands-on experience in lithium-ion battery systems and OEM account management.
Key Responsibilities
1. OEM Account Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned OEM customers.
- Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with EV, Telecom, Solar, and Industrial OEMs.
- Understand customer product roadmaps and align battery solutions accordingly.
- Develop annual business plans and revenue growth strategies for each key account.
2. RFQ & Business Development
- Manage end-to-end RFQ process including feasibility review, costing coordination, and techno-commercial proposal submission.
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and costing teams to develop competitive solutions.
- Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, and volume commitments.
- Drive new project wins and platform approvals.
3. Program & Project Coordination
- Coordinate new product development (NPD) projects from concept to SOP (Start of Production).
- Track project milestones, validation timelines, and customer approvals.
- Ensure alignment between customer demand forecasts and internal production planning.
- Manage engineering change requests (ECR/ECN) and ensure timely execution.
4. Commercial & Contract Management
- Negotiate long-term supply agreements and annual price revisions.
- Manage cost pass-through discussions related to lithium and key raw material fluctuations.
- Monitor account profitability, margins, and P&L performance.
- Ensure timely collections and payment follow-ups.
5. Quality & Customer Satisfaction
- Coordinate resolution of quality concerns, field returns, and technical escalations.
- Work with quality teams for root cause analysis and corrective action reports.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention levels.
6. Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing benchmarks.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and new application development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical preferred).
- MBA in Marketing/Sales/Operations (preferred).
- 612 years of experience in B2B sales or Key Account Management.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in lithium-ion battery manufacturing, EV components, automotive electronics, or energy storage solutions.
- Experience handling OEM customers is mandatory.
Technical Competencies
- Strong understanding of lithium-ion battery packs (LFP/NMC), BMS, and low-voltage systems (12V72V).
- Knowledge of EV, Telecom, Solar, or Industrial battery applications.
- Familiarity with regulatory and certification standards (AIS, UN38.3, IEC, etc. as applicable).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, BOM costing, and margin structures.
