Job Description Key Account Manager (Beauty Marketplaces)
Platforms: Nykaa, Tira and other leading beauty marketplaces
Location: Mumbai - Andheri East
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Business Management
- Own business performance for assigned marketplaces Nykaa, Tira & others.
- Drive revenue, profitability, sell-through and contribution margins.
- End-to-end P&L ownership for the business pricing, discounts, returns, margins, spends.
- Create annual and monthly business plans, forecasts and performance roadmaps.
Brand & Category Growth
- Work with cross-functional teams on new launches, pricing strategies and content improvement.
- Analyse category trends: makeup, skincare, haircare, fragrances, etc.
Relationship & Negotiation
- Manage strategic relationships with category managers and buyer teams.
- Handle commercial negotiations, platform margins, payment terms & marketing spends.
Analytics & Insights
- Track weekly/monthly performance dashboards: sales, stock, traffic, conversion, ASP.
- Analyse promo ROI, traffic contribution, visibility efficiency and repeat rate.
- Use data to improve contribution margin, inventory planning and forecasting accuracy.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure catalogue hygiene, listings, ratings, content accuracy & reviews management. Manage SLA, returns, cancellations and campaign execution.
Skills Required
- Prior experience handling Nykaa/Tira or beauty categories on marketplaces is a must.
- Strong commercial acumen + P&L management exposure.
- Advanced Excel / data analysis skills.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management & communication ability.
- Understanding of beauty category trends and consumer behaviour.
Education
- MBA / Graduate in Business, Marketing or Retail Management preferred.
