Job Description

Education : B.E/B.Tech (Electronics)

Experience : 3 to 5 Years of Experience in sales of Electronics components with a leading Electronics components company.

Job Purpose :

The position is focused on developing and supporting business opportunities in the Industrial and Home Appliance and EMS segments. The role involves working closely with OEMs, EMS, Tier-1 suppliers, and distribution partners to promote and support TDK's range of electronic components such as capacitors, inductors, sensors, transformers and EMC solutions. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving design-in activities, providing technical and commercial support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-value solutions tailored to customer requirements. The role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring strong customer interface skills, technical understanding, and a proactive business development mindset to support TDK's growth and innovation goals in this dynamic sector.

Key activities :

  1. Business Growth & Market Penetration
  2. Drive revenue and market share growth in the Industrial & Home Appliance segments
  3. Expand TDK's customer base by identifying new opportunities and strengthening existing relationships
  4. Customer Engagement & Satisfaction
  5. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers (OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers)
  6. Provide proactive support and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

Key Result Areas / Accountabilities-

  1. Achieving Sales Turnover and receivable targets as per the target given for the area.
  2. Repeat orders from Existing Customers and also develop business for new products from Existing Customers. Ensure that order execution is perfect to the core.
  3. New Business Generation - Quantitative and Qualitative orders from the new Customers / Applications in the automotive Area.
  4. Various kinds of Biz reporting on a regular basis on sales / projects / other company matters.
