Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Manage the entire process of on-boarding to deployment initially Account management,
  • Merchant servicing and driving month on month transaction and GMV growth.
  • Also, revisit the top transacting merchants on monthly basis and pass product and market feedback to the product team.

Responsibilities will include

Functional Expertise

  • Identify the categories of offline merchants and micro - markets to focus on Onboard multiple accounts from different categories: Retail, pharma, healthcare, fashion and jewelry, automobile, hotels, food and beverages (regional chains, standalone, corporate cafeterias, college canteens, QSR chains), spas and salons.
  • Responsible to acquire key merchants (Large standalone account, multiple store/MID account, city/regional chains) for payment solutions.
  • Responsible for retention and cross sales of other products.

Interaction

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition from the sales process to account deployment.
  • Liaise with cross functional teams to address requirements, resolve issues etc.
  • Collaborate with product team to provide insights and feedback.

Problem Solving

  • Develop strategies for product enhancements and innovation.

To succeed in the role

  • Drive month-on-month transaction and GMV growth to contribute in overall company profitability.
  • Provide valuable market and product feedback to product team, enabling product enhancement and innovations.

  • Facing market with a target.
  • Balancing the diverse needs and expectations of key accounts.

Qualification & Experience (type & industry)

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales and business development.
  • Graduate / MBA with good academic record.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a added bonus.

Skills & know-how

  • Candidates having experience in managing key accounts would be preferred.
  • Exposure of working with leadership team.
  • Good negotiation, communication and convincing skills.
  • Go getter attitude with problem solving skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to handle ambiguity in role/ environment
