Job Purpose

To lead regional sales operations, drive merchant acquisition and engagement, and achieve business growth targets by building strong client relationships and ensuring effective implementation of payment solutions.

Role & Responsibilities :

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective merchants to drive adoption and growth of BNPL solutions.
  • Onboard, engage, and train brand partners and merchants across hierarchy levels on BNPL offerings, value proposition, customer journey, and operational processes.
  • Drive merchant acquisition for BNPL by identifying high-potential partners and expanding the BNPL acceptance network.
  • Achieve defined BNPL sales targets including activation, volume (GMV), revenue, and merchant penetration across the assigned region.
  • Conduct territory analysis to identify untapped markets, optimize merchant mix, and implement interventions to increase BNPL usage and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, credit, risk, operations, and marketing) to ensure seamless merchant onboarding, issue resolution, and smooth execution of BNPL programs.
  • Ensure high service standards, merchant satisfaction, and adherence to BNPL compliance and risk guidelines.
  • Monitor sales team performance on BNPL metrics (acquisition, activation, utilization) and provide regular coaching to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Prepare and present periodic reports on BNPL sales performance, portfolio growth, activation trends, and key business insights to management.

Qualification

  • Any Graduate / MBA with a good academic record

Work Experience

  • At least 3 - 7 year of field sales experience of Merchant acquiring / Banking industry or field sales Experience
  • Hands on experience with merchant acquiring, engagement & payment solutions
  • Good negotiation, communication and convincing skills & Analytical skills
