Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to drive revenue growth in the Domestic SMS (A2P messaging) RBM , WABA business across India. The role involves managing key client relationships, acquiring new enterprise accounts, and expanding messaging volumes through strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients for domestic A2P SMS, RBM and WABA services
- Drive revenue growth by increasing SMS traffic from existing and new accounts
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
- Build a strong pipeline through networking, cold outreach, and industry connections
- Account Management
- Manage and grow relationships with aggregators, and partners
- Act as the primary point of contact for client communication and issue resolution
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
- Upsell and cross-sell additional messaging solutions (OTP, promotional SMS, etc.)
- Market & Industry Expertise
- Maintain strong understanding of the Indian telecom and messaging ecosystem (DLT regulations, TRAI guidelines)
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Provide feedback to product and operations teams for service improvement
- Coordination & Execution
- Work closely with operations and routing teams to ensure smooth message delivery
- Coordinate with finance for billing, collections, and pricing approvals
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (DLT platforms, sender IDs, templates)
- Reporting & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and CRM updates
- Track KPIs such as revenue, margin, traffic volume, and client growth
Key Requirements
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in SMS, CPaaS, telecom, or messaging industry
- Proven track record in B2B sales and account management
- Existing relationships with enterprises, aggregators, or telecom partners is a strong plus
Skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management
- Good understanding of A2P SMS routes, pricing, and delivery mechanisms
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DLT /MaaP platforms (e.g., Tanla, Route Mobile , Sinch , Onextel, Vodafone Idea, Jio)
- Familiarity with messaging use cases (OTP, alerts, promotions)
- Strong network in Aggregator Market
