Location: Gurgaon

Reporting To: Regional Manager

About The Function

The Independent Hotels team, part of the Domestic Hotel Supply function, is responsible for managing and growing the supply of independent hotels across India. The team oversees a vast network of over 70,000 hotel partners that are contracted on our platform. By ensuring competitive pricing, operational excellence, and strong partner relationships, the team plays a critical role in shaping the customer experience and driving business growth in the domestic hotels segment.

About The Role

This role is critical within the Key Accounts Management team of the Domestic Hotels Supply function. As a Key Account Manager, the incumbent will hold end-to-end responsibility for driving growth for assigned key accounts through regular partner engagement. This involves sharing essential business insights and recommendations with key external stakeholders and ensuring the smooth execution of agreed-upon actions by coordinating with cross-functional teams.

What Will You Be Doing

  • Relationship and Key Account Management:

As a Key Account Manager, your role involves establishing and maintaining connections with C level executives and the account management team of domestic hotels, as well as ensuring the sustained performance of the accounts. Collaborating with partners in the portfolio and providing expertise, metrics analysis and recommendations based on industry's best practices.Your role will involve traveling to various cities to engage with key decision-makers and spending 50% of your time in the field within the same city.

  • Portfolio Management and Driving Growth for units:

Reviewing monthly production reports, offering feedback to hotels, organizing and conducting market visits, holding review meetings (both virtual and in-person) to discuss monthly results, and educating partner hotels on effective extranet use. Constructing review reports, disseminating market insights with hotels, and analyzing competitive sets to foster growth for the unit. Maintaining sufficient inventory levels and competitive pricing all year round.

  • Negotiation Skills:

Engaging in networking, initiating, negotiating, and finalizing deals with hotel partners.

Developing better marketing strategies for the hotel.

Onboarding hotels for Ad-tech sponsored unit campaigns. Making exclusive deals with

hotel partners to ensure a competitive edge for MMT.

Qualification & Experience

  • Post-graduate from a reputed institute with 4 years of experience in Sales, Key Account Management or Portfolio Management
  • Proven experience in managing multiple accounts.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
