Job Summary:

As a Consultant you will be providing technical and transaction-based accounting advisory support, including financial analysis, GAAP-compliant financial statement preparation, and assistance on complex transactions such as M&A, IPOs, and carve-outs.

The position supports global KPMG teams and clients with accounting research, GAAP conversions, regulatory filings, and business development, while maintaining strong collaboration with onshore stakeholders.

How you will make your mark;

•Summarizing and Analyzing financial information (trial balances, income statements, balance sheets and cash flows)

•Drafting financial statements as per IFRS/ US GAAP/Ind-AS/Local GAAP

•Provide transaction-oriented accounting and reporting assistance for mergers and acquisition, divestitures, complex capital raising and financial structures, complex financial instruments, revenue recognition and leases. Prepare and present whitepapers

•Assist with regulatory filings or spin-offs, carveouts, initial public offerings (IPO), debt offerings, and other acquisition filings for both domestic and cross-border transactions.

•To provide technical and transaction-based accounting advisory support and research to international KPMG teams and clients, including implementation assistance with new accounting standards.

•Prepare and present accounting whitepapers

•To provide support/assistance for proposals/business development

•Provide GAAP conversion services

•Establish strong professional relationships with onshore team members through weekly meetings and calls with onshore stakeholders

This is the job for you if you have:

•CA/CPA/ACCA

•1-3 years of post qualification experience working on IFRS / US GAAP / Ind –AS either as an auditor or as an accountant / advisor.

•Understanding of IFRS, Ind-AS, US GAAP or any local GAAP framework and ability to research technical topics efficiently and effectively.

•Demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment.

•Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
