Onestop is a Home & Kitchen retail brand curating utility-driven yet aesthetic products for modern Indian homes. Our focus is on building a strong brand presence, creating a community, and driving store walk-ins through thoughtful, high-quality digital content.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Junior Visual & Video Editor with a strong eye for aesthetics, consistency, and storytelling. This role is execution-focused and ideal for someone who enjoys creating Instagram-first content while also working on static creatives like carousels, banners, and digital listings.
You will work closely with the founder and content lead to translate ideas into clean, premium-looking visuals across platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Video Editing (Primary)
- Edit Instagram Reels & Stories (56 reels per week)
- Create engaging short-form videos using trending audio, subtitles, text overlays, and clean transitions
- Edit product demos, store walkthroughs, POV content, utility tips, and trend-based reels
- Repurpose raw footage into multiple reel formats
2. Static & Visual Creatives
- Design Instagram carousels (product features, offers, tips, comparisons)
- Create digital banners and creatives for social media, website listings, and in-store screens
- Edit and enhance product images (cropping, alignment, background cleanup, basic retouching)
- Add text overlays for features, pricing, and offers
- Maintain a consistent brand aesthetic across all creatives
3. Brand Consistency & Support
- Maintain consistency in fonts, colours, layouts, and visual tone
- Organise raw footage, edited videos, and creative assets systematically
- Suggest minor creative improvements during execution (pacing, hooks, layout)
REQUIREMENTS
- 02 years of experience in video and visual editing
- Comfortable using CapCut, VN, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut for video editing
- Comfortable using Canva or Photoshop for static creatives
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels formats and short-form pacing
- Interest in lifestyle, home, kitchen, or retail brands
- Ability to follow briefs and meet deadlines
GOOD TO HAVE (NOT MANDATORY)
- Basic shooting skills (mobile shooting is sufficient)
- Understanding of Instagram analytics (reach, retention, saves)
- Experience with lifestyle, D2C, or retail brands
- Familiarity with website-style creatives or product listings
EDITING & DESIGN STYLE PREFERENCE
- Clean, minimal, and premium
- Not over-designed or flashy
- Focus on clarity, utility, and storytelling
- Subtle transitions and readable text
LOCATION
- Mumbai
- Open to in-store shoots and office coordination
