Editing Basics

Basic knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve)

Ability to cut, trim, and arrange clips properly

Understanding of timeline, layers, and transitions

Visual & Audio Sense

Basic understanding of color correction & brightness/contrast

Ability to sync audio, remove noise, and balance sound levels

Knowledge of background music placement

Creative & Technical Skills

Good sense of timing, rhythm, and storytelling

Basic knowledge of aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1)

Understanding of export settings for YouTube, Instagram, Reels, etc.

Motion & Assets (Basic Level)

Familiar with simple text animations & lower thirds

Ability to use stock footage, images, and music properly

Basic knowledge of copyright-free assets

Workflow & Discipline

Ability to organize project files and folders

Follow instructions and feedback

Meet deadlines and manage time efficiently

Soft Skills

Willingness to learn and improve

Good communication with seniors / team

Patience for revisions
