Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style formats) and long-form videos for the consultant's brand.
- Craft narrative flow, clean transitions, and strong hooks tailored to political communication.
- Repurpose raw footage from shoots, webinars, podcasts, news references, and speeches.
- Add captions, overlays, storytelling frames, and social-first formatting.
- Maintain brand consistency: tone, pacing, aesthetic, sound.
- Collaborate with the strategist, designers, and account leads for quick turnarounds.
- Organise footage, manage file systems, and prep exports for multiple platforms.
- Stay tuned to trends in political content, meme-velocity, and news cycles (without losing your sanity).
Required Skills
- Basic proficiency in Premiere Pro or Final Cut (DaVinci Resolve is a plus).
- Understanding of short-form, high-retention edits.
- Ability to add motion text, templates, LUTs, and simple graphics.
- Good sense of pacing, story arcs, and audio syncing.
- Willingness to learn fast inside a high-energy agency environment.
- Strong attention to detail; zero tolerance for sloppy exports.
Qualifications
- 13 years of experience in graphic designing (NGO or healthcare sector experience is a plus).
- A strong portfolio demonstrating AI generated images will be an added advantage.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
