Role Overview

Join our creative team as a full-time, on-site Junior Video Editor in Vadodara, Gujarat. You will assist in editing raw footage into polished, engaging content, gaining hands-on experience on live projects to build your portfolio. Key tasks include editing and producing videos, applying color grading, creating motion graphics, and repurposing long-form YouTube videos (20-60 minutes) into YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. Expect clean cuts, smooth pacing, clear storytelling, basic captions, zoom-ins, B-roll, and adherence to brand guidelines and internal SOPs. You'll collaborate closely with the team to deliver professional videos aligned with marketing goals, meeting deadlines while implementing feedback promptly.

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent like Final Cut Pro/DaVinci Resolve); familiarity with After Effects is a plus.
• Understanding of video editing principles, color grading, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.
• Prior coursework, personal projects, or experience in video production/editing preferred (passion and willingness to learn are essential).
• Creativity, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment, handle multiple revisions, and accept guidance positively.
• Knowledge of graphics design tools and YouTube/Instagram video formats.
• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media, or a related field preferred.

Experience

• Strong portfolio of personal or academic video editing projects (YouTube, Reels, or short films).
• Freelance editing experience or content creation for social media platforms.
• Internship, coursework, or personal projects in video production/editing.
• Experience shooting/editing home videos, student films, or online content (e.g., YouTube/Vimeo).
• 0-1 year freelance or casual video editing (e.g., social media Reels, family events).
• Familiarity producing content for YouTube, Instagram, or client revisions.

Additional Notes

This is an onsite role based in Vadodara, Gujarat. You'll work from our office.
