About the Role
We are a fast-growing digital marketing agency looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to support our content and performance marketing teams. The role involves creating engaging video content for brands across social media platforms, ad campaigns, and digital channels.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, ads, and brand videos
- Assist in editing long-form content including YouTube videos and client presentations
- Add subtitles, music, transitions, motion graphics, and basic animations
- Adapt videos according to platform specifications and brand guidelines
- Collaborate with social media managers, designers, and performance marketers
- Implement feedback and revisions quickly and accurately
- Organize raw footage, project files, and final exports
- Ensure deadlines are met as per content calendars and campaign timelines
- Stay updated with current social media trends, formats, and editing styles
Skills & Qualifications
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Cap Cut, etc.)
- Understanding of social media platforms and video best practices
- Good sense of timing, visuals, and storytelling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and improve continuously
Preferred Good to Have
- Experience editing social media content or ads
- Knowledge of motion graphics or basic VFX
- Familiarity with brand campaigns and performance-driven content
