Designation - Junior Video Editor & Animator (Al-Aware) | HigherEducation India

Role Overview - We're looking for a Junior Creative Producer who is beginning their journey in video editing and motion graphics, with a strong curiosity for Al-enabled creative workflows. You'll support the creation of engaging videos for learning, promos, explainers, and campaigns, while learning how editing, animation, and Al tools come together in a real production environment.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs) -

• Video Editing: Support the editing of videos across learning, promotional, and campaign formats, including basic cuts, clean-ups, formatting, and exports under guidance.
• Animation & Motion Graphics: Assist in creating simple motion graphics, text animations, and explainer elements using existing assets and templates.
• Al-Enhanced Production: Support the use of Al tools for subtitling, rough edits, voice cleanup, localization, and experimentation, while learning Al-assisted workflows.
• Storytelling: Help translate scripts and briefs into clear visual sequences with attention to structure and pacing.
• Creative Direction (Optional): Assist with basic script breakdowns, references, or storyboarding when required.
• Collaboration: Work with writers, designers, and senior producers to complete assigned tasks.
• Quality + Scale: Learn to balance speed and efficiency with attention to detail and quality.
• Innovation: Explore new video, animation, and Al tools, contributing ideas and experiments under supervision.

Skill Set Requirements -

• 1-2 years of experience through internships, academic projects, or try-level creative work
• A basic portfolio or showreel showcasing editing, animation, or student projects
• Familiarity with video tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Basic awareness or curiosity about Al video and animation tools such as Runway, Descript, or similar platforms
• Foundational understanding of visual storytelling, timing, and composition
• Ability to take direction, apply feedback, and learn through iteration

Preferred Tools Exposure -

• Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, Runway, Descript, or similar platforms
