Role Overview

As a Junior Trader Intern at Tradeshala, you'll be embedded within a fast-paced trading environment. You'll support trade identification, execution, and performance trackingwhile learning how to navigate markets with a strategy-first mindset. This role offers unmatched access to live trading desks, tactical mentorship, and skill-building in both discretionary and systematic trading.

Key Responsibilities

1. Track and analyse real-time movements across global asset classesforex, indices, metals, and crypto

2. Execute trades on demo/live platforms using predefined strategies and strict risk rules

3. Study technical setups, market structure, and intraday patterns for trade generation

4. Maintain and review trade logs, performance metrics, and execution notes

5. Stay updated on macroeconomic events, news releases, and market sentiment drivers

6. Assist in developing and refining trade strategies with the mentorship of senior traders

7. Engage in daily trade briefings, post-market analysis, and peer reviews

Who Should Apply

1. Final year students or recent graduates from Finance, Quant, or STEM backgrounds

2. Highly passionate about live trading, risk-taking, and building an edge in the markets

3. Skilled in technical charting tools like TradingView, MetaTrader, or similar platforms

4. Strong numerical aptitude, decision-making speed, and emotional resilience

5. Bonus: Experience with paper trading, competition trading, or journaling trade ideas

4. Help with financial modelling, portfolio tracking, and performance metrics

6. Collaborate with traders to back test and validate strategies

7. Participate in daily trade reviews and performance improvement sessions

Who Should Apply

1. Undergraduates or recent graduates in Finance, Economics, Commerce, BBA, MBA, or related fields

3. Basic knowledge of Excel, market terminologies, and investment platforms
