Experience Level: 1-3 years
Role purpose
Support delivery of structural analysis, design calculations, and documentation for global projects under guidance of Engineers/Senior Engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Build/update analysis models and perform supervised design checks for RC/steel elements.
- Prepare calculation sheets, basic design notes, and input for design reports.
- Coordinate with BIM/CAD to produce/issue drawings; redline markups; maintain drawing registers.
- Follow QA/QC: self-checks, checklist completion, file naming/version control, comment resolution.
- Follow applicable design codes and project specifications (IS codes, Eurocodes, ACI, AS, NZ etc., depending on project region).
- Participate in coordination calls as needed; document actions and close-out items.
- Continuous learning: codes, software workflows, and internal standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- BE/BTech (Civil) / ME (preferred) in Structural.
- 14 years relevant experience (buildings/infrastructure/industrial).
Tools (typical)
- ETABS / SAFE / STAAD /RAM (as applicable), Excel calculation templates.
- AutoCAD; Exposure to Revit/Navisworks is a plus.
