Junior Software Engineer Backend and Cloud

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of programming experience in a professional setting.
• Backend Programming: Experience in a high-level backend programming language and framework like Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Cloud & Data Technologies: Experience with one or more of the following: AWS IoT, MQTT, AWS Lambda, or AWS Kinesis.
• Systems Experience: Experience working with large-scale distributed systems and in a Continuous Integration & Delivery (CI/CD) model.
• Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Work Ethic: Highly motivated to learn new technologies, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Adaptability: Flexibility in taking on diverse tasks based on project needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry Experience: Experience with Connected Vehicle or connected product systems.
• Messaging & Data Formats: Experience with MQTT and Google Protocol Buffers.
• DevOps & Development: Experience with DevOps tools like Git, Gradle/Maven, Jenkins, and Jira, and a background in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Architecture: Experience with Microservices architecture and container technologies like Docker.
