Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Software Engineer at Aetosky. The Junior Software Engineer will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of advanced software platforms to support defense and geospatial intelligence operations. Responsibilities include implementing and testing back-end systems, writing efficient and reliable code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and solving technical challenges to enhance system performance and user experience.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of computer science principles and software development fundamentals
• Hands-on experience in back-end web development and general software development tasks
• Proficiency in programming languages and object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with geospatial data or AI defense technology is a plus
• A passion for innovation and delivering impactful solutions in sensitive, mission-critical domains
