Role Overview
We are looking for a Social Media Intern who will be responsible for managing Happening Design's social media presence, tracking trends, analysing performance, and handling day-to-day social media activities. This role is ideal for someone who understands content, trends, analytics, and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day social media operations across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
Identify and track social media trends, design trends, and industry trends
Work with the design team to plan and publish content
Maintain a content calendar and posting schedule
Track analytics and performance metrics (reach, engagement, followers, conversions)
Suggest ideas to improve engagement and brand visibility
Assist in event promotions, announcements, and campaigns
Monitor competitors and industry pages for content ideas
Create basic content briefs for designers (posts, carousels, announcements)
Ensure consistency in brand tone, messaging, and visual communication
Requirements
Interest in social media, marketing, branding, or content
Basic understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter
Understanding of social media analytics and trends
Good communication and content writing skills
Basic understanding of Canva / Figma is a plus
Self-driven and proactive
