Job Summary

The Junior Scientist will assist in the design, execution, and analysis of experiments to support ongoing research projects. They are responsible for maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment, collecting high-quality data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance scientific knowledge or product development.

Role Description

  • Experimental Execution: Conduct laboratory or field experiments following standard operating procedures (SOPs). This includes preparing reagents, gathering samples, and operating specialized equipment (e.g., PCR, HPLC, or microscopy).
  • Literature Review: Search and summarize scientific literature to support hypothesis building and keep the team updated on industry trends.
  • Lab Maintenance: Monitor inventory levels for chemicals and supplies. Ensure all equipment is calibrated and that the lab complies with safety standards (e.g., GMP, GLP, or OSHA).
  • Collaboration & Communication: Prepare reports and visuals for team meetings. Contribute to the writing of research papers, grant proposals, and technical presentations.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant scientific field (Biochemistry, Bsc Chemistry, etc.). Some high-level R&D roles may require an entry-level Ph.D.
  • Experience: 02 years of experience in a laboratory or research environment (internships and academic lab work are often counted).
