Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Scientist specializing in Device Coating & Surface Chemistry, based in Chennai. Responsibilities include conducting research and development of innovative coating processes and surface modification techniques for medical devices. The role involves working with interdisciplinary teams, optimizing manufacturing processes, testing and analyzing materials, and preparing technical reports to drive product development.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in surface chemistry, material science, and device coating techniques.
• Experience with laboratory research, testing, and analytical characterization methods.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to advance R&D projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and documentation.
• Educational background in Chemistry, Material Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields (master's degree preferred).
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines for medical device development is a plus.
• Prior experience in the medical device industry or a related field is an advantage.
• 1 to 3 years Experience for medical industry
