Job Description

Role Overview:

As a Junior Research Associate, you will maintain a clear understanding of political marketing, tools, and the domestic political landscape to enhance the consultancy's competitive edge. Additionally, you will conduct in-depth research, analyse data, and support client outreach efforts to build Polstrat's customer base and strengthen its market position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a robust research portfolio, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of collected data.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on socio-economic and political scenarios in alignment with the consultancy's mandate.
  • Analyse, assess, and verify collected data, ensuring integrity and relevance to ongoing projects.
  • Carry out in-depth interviews and surveys to gather primary data on political constituencies and related topics.
  • Provide extensive research support to clients for their parliamentary work, including data analysis and report preparation.
  • Stay informed about trends in political marketing and the domestic political landscape to inform research and strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior data analysts to expand and enhance the consultancy's activities through the development of data publications.
  • Perform additional research-related tasks as delegated by senior management to support the overall objectives of the consultancy.
  • Willingness to go on ground/travel for research and campaigning.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Economics or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in both Hindi and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools, including MS Excel for data management and analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and reliability of collected data.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess and interpret data.

Salary:Competitive, based on experience (30,000 - 35,000 per month)
