Job Summary
The Junior Purchase Manager (Interior Materials) will assist in sourcing, procuring and managing interior design materials for projects, including furniture, finishes, fixtures, joinery, lighting and dcor elements. The role supports senior purchase managers to ensure timely procurement, quality compliance and cost efficiency across interior design and execution projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in sourcing and procuring interior materials and finishes for ongoing projects
Support senior purchase managers in vendor identification, evaluation and on boarding
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
Maintain records of purchase orders, invoices and material receipts
Monitor inventory levels, stock availability and proper storage of materials
Assist in rate analysis, cost comparison and negotiation
Maintain an updated vendor database and support vendor performance tracking
Coordinate with design teams, project managers and site engineers for material requirements
Ensure compliance with quality standards and company procurement procedures
Prepare basic procurement reports and assist in MIS reporting
Support resolution of supplier issues, delivery delays or quality concerns
