Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Compounding and Dispensing: Prepare and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians
  • Patient Monitoring: Monitor customers drug therapies, advise on interventions, and inform about potential side effects
  • Patient Education: Instruct customers on proper medication usage, including dosage and timing
  • Health Services: Conduct health and wellness screenings; provide immunizations; monitor blood pressure, temperature, and blood sugar levels
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate customer and medication records
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe and clean working environment; adhere to legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice
  • Pharmacy Operations: Verify order entries, maintain records of controlled substances, manage inventory, and remove expired or damaged drugs
  • Administrative Support: Perform other administrative tasks as required
