Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Coding Intern who is interested in healthcare documentation and coding processes. This role offers hands-on exposure to medical coding standards and healthcare data management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in reviewing medical records and documentation

• Assign appropriate codes to diagnoses and procedures under guidance

• Ensure accuracy and compliance with coding standards

• Maintain confidentiality of patient information

• Support in auditing and validating coded data

• Work with healthcare documentation systems

• Follow industry regulations and coding guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related field

• Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare concepts

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Good analytical and documentation skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with ICD coding systems (basic knowledge)

• Exposure to healthcare documentation or medical records

• Interest in healthcare analytics or administration
