Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Proper execution of preventive maintenance to reduce failure even to zero on account of C&I, attending defects with proper safety of human & equipment, scheduled calibration execution & also to reduce the annual budget through in house repairing & proper utilization of resources

ORGANISATION CHART

Ensure execution of preventive maintenance & equipment calibration as per schedule.

  • PM execution according to schedule.
  • Performing Calibration according to schedule.
  • Updating Check chart

% adherence vs. % benchmark.

Reducing of Failure

Responsible for availability of spare & critical equipment for C&I department.

  • Healthiness checking of critical instruments for availability of boiler & auxiliaries
  • Proper stock checking of critical spare availability for boiler & turbine.

% adherence vs. % benchmark.

Reducing of down time

SAP MM & PM module implementation & Implementation of IMS document & its implementation.

  • Working in safety according to HIRA.
  • Environmental instruments like sox, nox, SPM maintenance to make them available
  • Following SOP for different defects.
  • Execution of PM & calibration according to schedule.
  • No NC in audit
  • Productivity Vs. Utilization of resources.
  • Review mechanism.

Identification of area of improvement & modification for efficiency improvement, reduction of failure & for easier operation.

No of initiatives/ideas implemented.

Easy operation

Maintenance preparedness.

  • Modification suggestion of different equipment for smooth performance of equipment.
  • Ensuring of all test certificate availability.
  • Making of as built drawing for better maintenance
  • Availability of all tools. Audit report(IMS).

Team work.

  • Working as active team player for achievement of department Goal. Ensuring a good team for achieving target in time & to reduce the down time for breakdown which requires inter departmental co-ordination.

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interaction with vendors to get the spare in time& the quality product.

Interaction with friends for modification suggestion

Interaction with Contractors technician to develop them for standard defective, shutdown & preventive maintenance

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interaction with seniors for maintenance planning & execution and also for their technical support.

Interdepartmental like electrical, mechanical,operation,IT coordination required for maintenance activities

Interaction with team members regularly for continuous improvements & resolving constraints for achieving goals

Education Qualifications


  • B. Tech with minimum 2 years experience in 200 MW P.F fired thermal power plant.
