Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Lawyer based in Velachery, Chennai. The Junior Lawyer will be responsible for assisting in legal research, drafting legal documents, appearances before courts and tribunals, and reviewing contracts. Additional tasks include providing support in trial preparation, maintaining client communication, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations. The role also includes coordinating with senior attorneys and external stakeholders to facilitate legal processes. The applicant must be willing to work in our office in Velachery, Chennai.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of legal principles, legal research, and contract drafting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in legal research tools and basic office software
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; bar certification is mandatory
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain confidentiality
• Ability to appear in courts and also to deal with filings in the registry.
