Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Lawyer based in Chennai. The Junior Lawyer will be responsible for assisting in legal research, drafting legal documents, appearances before courts and tribunals, and reviewing contracts. Additional tasks include providing support in trial preparation, maintaining client communication, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations. The role also includes coordinating with senior attorneys and external stakeholders to facilitate legal processes.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of legal principles, legal research, and contract drafting
• Drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents with attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in legal research tools and basic office software
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; bar certification is mandatory
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain confidentiality
