About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Java Developer to join our remote engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in building scalable applications, working with modern technologies, and collaborating in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications
- Debug and resolve technical issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, product managers)
- Participate in code reviews and learn best coding practices
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical knowledge)
- Strong understanding of Core Java concepts (OOPs, Collections, Exception Handling)
- Basic knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Understanding of frameworks like Spring or Spring Boot is an advantage
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and willingness to learn
Eligibility
- Freshers with relevant projects/internships are encouraged to apply
- Candidates with up to 2 years of experience are also welcome
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs
- Exposure to Git or other version control systems
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
