Junior Interior Designer

Role Description The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing concepts, preparing drawings, and assisting with project coordination from initial briefing through to execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include contributing to space planning, preparing interior layouts, assisting with material selection, and coordinating with vendors and contractors under supervision. The role involves creating and updating construction drawings, maintaining project documentation, and participating in site visits to ensure design intent is followed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane, requiring close collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Interior Design fundamentals and Space Planning to develop efficient and aesthetically cohesive layouts.
• Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to translate design concepts into clear technical documentation.
• Basic competence with design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and MS Office tools.
• Strong visual sensibility, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and present design ideas using sketches and mood boards.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback and work under guidance in a team environment.
• Willingness to work on-site in Thane, conduct site visits, and coordinate with vendors and contractors as required.
