About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer with 2+ years of professional experience to join our design team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of interior design principles, excellent visualization skills using SketchUp, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior designers, architects, and project managers to conceptualize and develop design solutions for residential and commercial projects.
- Create detailed 3D models and design renderings using SketchUp, along with supporting documentation such as layouts, material boards, and presentations.
- Participate in site visits to assist in measurements, installation supervision, and coordination with vendors.
- Liaise with clients and team members to interpret design briefs and translate them into feasible solutions aligned with brand and user needs.
- Work alongside procurement, marketing, and operations teams to ensure design intent is executed accurately.
- Stay updated with current trends, materials, and technologies in the interior design industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in interior design projects.
- Proficiency in SketchUp and basic knowledge of tools like AutoCAD, Photoshop, and MS Office.
- Strong design portfolio showcasing both technical and conceptual work.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across departments.
