Junior Interior Designer

Currently, the firm is engaged in diverse projects, including interior spaces up to 3,000 sq ft and 10,000 sq ft BRTS projects, with operations spanning across India and New Jersey.

Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Junior Interior Designer. The Junior Interior Designer will assist in space planning, designing layouts, and selecting materials and furnishings aligned with project requirements. They will also prepare detailed construction drawings, collaborate with architects and project teams, and contribute to the overall vision of Lorescape's design language. Communication and coordination with clients and stakeholders may also be required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design
• Foundational understanding of Architecture and related concepts
• Experience in preparing accurate Construction Drawings
• Familiarity with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) specifications
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Proficiency in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or related tools
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred
