Junior Interior Designer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Interior Designer located in Ahmedabad. In this role, the designer will assist in planning and visualizing interior spaces, creating design layouts, preparing construction drawings, and selecting FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment). The role involves collaborating with senior designers, architects, and contractors to bring projects to life while ensuring compliance with design standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design concepts
• Understanding of Architecture and its integration in interior design projects
• Knowledge of Construction Drawings and project documentation processes
• Experience in selecting and coordinating FF&E elements
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Ability to manage time effectively and collaborate in a team environment

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and budget.
• Prepare mood boards, concepts, space plans, and 2D/3D visualizations.
• Select materials, furnishings, finishes, and décor in line with the approved concept.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for implementation.
• Visit sites to ensure execution aligns with design drawings and specifications.
• Revise designs based on client feedback and site conditions.
