Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Interior Designer located in Ahmedabad. In this role, the designer will assist in planning and visualizing interior spaces, creating design layouts, preparing construction drawings, and selecting FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment). The role involves collaborating with senior designers, architects, and contractors to bring projects to life while ensuring compliance with design standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design concepts
- Understanding of Architecture and its integration in interior design projects
- Knowledge of Construction Drawings and project documentation processes
- Experience in selecting and coordinating FF&E elements
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Ability to manage time effectively and collaborate in a team environment
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and budget.
- Prepare mood boards, concepts, space plans, and 2D/3D visualizations.
- Select materials, furnishings, finishes, and dcor in line with the approved concept.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for implementation.
- Visit sites to ensure execution aligns with design drawings and specifications.
- Revise designs based on client feedback and site conditions.
