Role Description:
This is a full-time, remote role for a Junior Instructional Designer. The Junior Instructional Designer will support the design and development of e-learning courses by conducting basic needs analysis, collaborating with senior designers and SMEs, and organizing content into clear, learner-focused structures. Daily responsibilities include creating storyboards, outlining modules, drafting assessments, and aligning learning objectives with business goals. The role involves working within established instructional design frameworks, applying adult learning principles, and using authoring tools or templates to build interactive, accessible content. The Junior Instructional Designer will also assist in uploading and maintaining courses in learning platforms, reviewing feedback and analytics, and making iterative improvements to enhance learner engagement and performance.

Qualifications:

• Candidates should possess skills in Needs Analysis to help identify learner requirements and performance gaps.
• Candidates should possess skills in Instructional Design to structure content, apply learning theories, and design engaging digital learning experiences.
• Candidates should possess skills in Training & Development to support learning initiatives and align content with organizational objectives.
• Candidates should possess skills in Curriculum Development to organize modules, define learning pathways, and develop assessments.
• Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, or similar) and basic multimedia concepts is beneficial.
• Strong written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established processes in a remote, collaborative environment are required.
• A relevant academic background in Education, Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
