Role: Assistant Hair Stylist (Junior Hair Stylist)
Role & Responsibilities
- Support senior stylists during client consultations, assist with hair analysis and recommend basic style options.
- Perform shampooing, conditioning, blow-drying, basic trims and styling under supervision to ensure service quality.
- Prepare and mix colour formulations, apply colour or treatments under direction, and follow safety protocols for chemical services.
- Maintain salon stations, sterilize tools, manage laundry and ensure compliance with sanitation and hygiene SOPs.
- Assist with appointments, manage product inventory, restock supplies and support retail sales through product recommendations.
- Participate in in-salon training, product demos and adopt new techniques to grow technical skills and client offerings.
