Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer with hands-on experience in printing and packaging design. The ideal candidate will support the senior design team in creating visually compelling packaging, print materials, and production-ready artwork, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and print specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and layout of packaging, labels, and other print materials.
- Create production-ready files for various packaging formats (boxes, pouches, labels, etc.)
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to understand design requirements.
- Ensure colour accuracy, bleed, trim, and resolution standards for print.
- Coordinate with printers and packaging vendors to meet project specifications.
- Maintain an organized library of design assets and files.
- Adapt existing designs to new packaging sizes or formats as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- 12 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on printing and packaging.
- Proficiency in CorelDRAW
- Attention to detail and strong layout/composition skills.
- Knowledge of branding and packaging compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with eco-friendly packaging materials and trends.
- Exposure to prepress processes and print production.
