About Lamppost Digital

Lamppost Digital is a new-age digital marketing agency focused on digital, technology, and automation. We work with brands, startups, and small businesses to build their online presence through thoughtful design, strategy, and content.

We're now looking for a Junior Graphic / Social Media Designer who can support our creative team in bringing brand stories to life across social media and other marketing collaterals.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for designing social media creatives and marketing collaterals for our agency and client brands. This is a core graphic design role (not a UI/UX role) with focus on social media, digital campaigns, and print-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design social media posts, stories, reels covers, ads, and campaign creatives for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Create posters, pamphlets, brochures, flyers, banners, standees, and other offline/print designs as required.
  • Support in website-related designs such as web banners, section layouts, and visual assets (not UI/UX wireframes).
  • Work closely with the digital marketing team to translate briefs and concepts into clean, brand-aligned designs.
  • Adapt designs to multiple formats and sizes while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Use Canva for quick adaptations and template-based designs wherever required.
  • Organize and maintain design files and assets in an orderly manner.
  • Participate in internal reviews and training sessions (including alternate Saturday trainings) to continuously improve design quality.
Must-Have Skills & Requirements
  • 02 years of experience as a Graphic Designer / Social Media Designer (freshers with a strong portfolio can also apply).
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Ability to design:
  • Social media creatives and ad campaign designs
  • Posters, pamphlets, brochures, and other marketing collaterals
  • Basic understanding of brand guidelines, typography, color, spacing, and layout.
  • Familiarity with Canva for quick design adaptations.
  • Ability to understand a brief and deliver clean, on-brand designs within timelines.
  • Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback.
Note: This is not a UI/UX Designer role. The primary focus is on social media and marketing collaterals.Added Advantage (Good to Have, Not Mandatory)
  • Knowledge of Adobe After Effects / Premiere Pro or any basic video editing software.
  • Ability to create simple motion graphics, GIFs, or short video edits for social media.
Work Timings & Structure
  • Working Days:
  • Monday to Friday Full working days
  • Alternate Saturdays Working days (often used for training, internal reviews, and project catch-ups)
  • Work Mode: On-site at Lamppost Digital office (Trichy)
Salary & Probation
  • Probation Period: 2 months
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • CTC:-2.5-3Lakh per year
