Company Description Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) is a service-oriented, non-profit company established in 1984 to support and promote India's diamond export industry. Formed by members of the diamond exporters fraternity along with the Minerals and Metals Trading Corporation of India (MMTC), BDB provides modern infrastructure and services for diamond and diamond jewellery trade. Its facilities are designed to serve both Indian and international buyers and sellers, positioning India as a key global hub for gems and jewellery. BDB actively fosters collaboration between the diamond trade and industry in India and abroad, with the goal of advancing, protecting, and developing diamond commerce. Through its international trading center, BDB aims to establish India as a sophisticated, world-class diamond market for manufacturers, brokers, and commission agents.

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to support the design and communication requirements of Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB). The role involves creating engaging visual content for social media, editing reels and short-form videos, designing the monthly e-news publication, marketing communication materials, and supporting internal branding initiatives while maintaining consistency with BDB's professional identity.

The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of layout, typography, clean corporate design aesthetics, and an understanding of content created for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design social media creatives for platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram
• Edit reels and short-form videos for social media, including captions, transitions, music, and simple motion graphics.
• Assist in designing and formatting the monthly BDB e-news publication
• Create banners, invitations, emailers, presentation graphics, and event-related creatives
• Support branding and communication requirements for BDB events and campaigns
• Ensure all creatives follow BDB brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency
• Collaborate with the digital marketing and communications team for creative execution
• Make revisions and updates based on feedback within timelines

Skills Required

• Hands-on experience with Canva
• Basic video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar software.
• Basic understanding of layout, typography, color balance, and clean design principles
• Creativity with attention to detail
• Ability to adapt designs for different formats and platforms
• Good understanding of social media design trends and professional visual communication

Good to Have

• Knowledge of CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign
• Basic understanding of print-ready artwork and file formats
• Familiarity with AI-based design tools
• Photography or videography skills are an added advantage.

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in graphic design
• Freshers with a strong portfolio may also apply

• Ability to manage multiple small design tasks efficiently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Interest in branding, corporate communication, and digital content
